Kayaking Alamitos Bay

     Since it was the 4th of July and I was looking for something fun, my pal and I decided to take on kayaking at Alamitos Bay as a last minute activity for the day.

     909131976406_0_ALB Superbly nice weather to go kayaking – cool ocean breeze in sunny weather. I picked the blue one. These are the malibu kayaks.

     563041976406_0_ALB Kayaking into the Alamitos Canal – or the “Little Italy”. What I didn’t know is how “friendly” the locals are – friendly as endless water wars with balloons and water guns left and right through out two hours…. moderately annoyingly entertaining.

     156251976406_0_ALB After kayaking through the canals, we kayaked to find us the famous jellyfishes in the bay. 

     890631976406_0_ALB We didn’t see any jellyfish but saw ducks instead… the only wild lives we saw that day… yappi.

     902741976406_0_ALB And look at what I picked up along the way – later on, another boat passed by and sprayed me with their waterguns and I threw the balloons back at them.

     714641976406_0_ALB Huh, after a quick two hours and an est. 5-6 miles of kayaking, we kayaked back to the launch point and called it a nice short kayaking outing.
